To help
with offsetting the cost of the week-long
celebration, the committee determined a cost of
J$500.00 each to purchase the anniversary bumper
sticker. An initial order of 500 bumper stickers
have been made with the printery.
Please let us know if you wish to purchase one and
also to help in the selling of these bumper stickers
to fellow YCites.
2. GLEANER NEWSPAPER SUPPLEMENT
Also
in attendance at last Monday's meeting was an
invited Jamaica Gleaner Sales Rep who discussed the
requisite elements for publishing a Gleaner
supplement. The supplement is expected to be 5 pages
and the Gleaner Sales Rep indicated to the planning
committee that she will be contacting suggested
sponsors. Additionally, she recommends that YCites
encourage the suggested sponsors of the
supplement...would you like to obtain the list of
these sponsors to help enlist their support? Please
reply and let us know.
3. ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
The week-long agenda has been reviewed and attached
represents the (revised) schedule of activities with
highlights below.
Sunday...begin with Brown's Town Methodist Church
Service & Meet & Greet Brunch to follow in the
Church Hall
Monday...let's mark the calendar for a Tour of YCHS
Tuesday...day trip to OUTAMENI attraction (map
attached) on the outskirts of Falmouth, Trelawny

Wednesday...YCites to attend YCHS Graduation
Ceremony
Reserve Thursday...for a day at the beach - bring
along the family too
Get ready Friday...for bringing back memories of
"the SAHARA playing field" at YCHS for alumni sports
day with an after lyme at JUS CHEERS
End on Saturday...with a Banquet/Awards for all
YCites to remember - venue still to be determined
