York Castle High School (YCHS) located in the cool hills of Brown's Town, St. Ann has
had a rich legacy of outstanding contributions to our country Jamaica.
YCHS began in 1957 although having had several name changes with shutdowns and reopens starting
as far back 1876. There have been numerous Heads of YCHS including Messrs. Poxon, Whiteman, Gordon with its current Principal Beverley Hawthorne.
